This past week, my family and I went through a pretty awful experience together. It was little thing called Hurricane Irma. Everybody is fine and we had very minimal damage to our property. We are all feeling blessed. But that doesn’t mean there weren’t lots of things to do after the electricity came back on. One of the biggest jobs was throwing out all of the food in our refrigerator. Once I cleaned it, I had to ask myself the question… “What are the first things you put in your fridge after a hurricane?”
Obviously there are the essentials, like bottled water, fruits, and vegetables. My daughter reminded me to buy some yogurt. It’s one of our favorite things to eat! It’s great for breakfast or even as a mid-day snack. I decided to grab a new brand that we hadn’t tried before, Liberté.
There are some great Liberté yogurt flavors like Liberté Phillippine Coconut or the Liberté Ecuadorian Mango. My local Publix was a little depleted after the storm, but I was able to find the Liberté Phillippine Coconut. We LOVE Coconut and I knew my wife and daughter would go nuts over this flavor.
I was also really happy that Liberté yogurt is organic. Liberté thinks that it is the best way for them to support small farmers who set high standards for animal welfare and sustainable agriculture.
Make sure to look for Liberté at your local Publix. It’s the perfect yogurt to keep in your refrigerator.
