“A Tale of Two Risottos†brings two Bellissimo dishes to guests of BRIO Tuscan Grille, Jan. 19–March 27, for only $19.95 each!
For centuries, risotto has been a dish savored by the Italians and people across the world who embrace the exceptional style of Italian cooking. Now, BRIO Tuscan Grille locations across the nation are presenting not only one, but two delectable and distinctive risotto dishes to guests through the A Tale of Two Risottos†promotion, Jan. 19–March 27. Each dish is available at both lunch at dinner, and priced at only $19.95.
A “Tale of Two Risottos†brings to the table the following savory risotto dishes:
- Lobster and Shrimp Risotto: Broiled Maine lobster tail served over risotto with shrimp, mushrooms, asparagus, roasted red peppers, basil and Parmesan
- Sea Scallops with Risotto: Five large, seared sea scallops served over a roasted vegetable ratatouille risotto
For the perfect complement to either of the risotto dishes, and to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of Conundrum white wine, BRIO recommends Conundrum white blend or red blend, priced at $11.95 glass.
I have a BRIO right down the street from my house, so my family and I decided to go try these great sounding dishes. If you’ve never been to a BRIO, the one thing that you can always count on is great service. Our server Lindsey was very prompt and personable. She let us know about drink specials, pointed out the risotto special and then suggested some appetizers. I love a nice red wine, so I ordered the 25th Anniversary Conundrum red blend. Be sure not to fill up on the complimentary bread basket, you’ll need to save room.
The red blend was a really great glass of wine and you get a generous pour. BRIO has many great appetizers, my family’s favorite is the calamari. It’s lightly battered, tender and full of flavor. Make sure to try both the marinara and garlic aioli dipping sauces. The garlic aioli is AMAZING!!! If they sold it in a jar… I would buy it.
We each ordered one of the risotto dishes and we were all pleasantly surprised. Risotto can be a hard dish to pull off and BRIO is doing it right. Both plates were awesome, but my 11-year-old daughter wanted to make sure that I told everyone that the Lobster and Shrimp risotto is her favorite. You don’t see a lot of kids her age eating risotto, but she loved it.
My family and I had a wonderful time and we will absolutely be going back to enjoy more risotto. Whether it’s a night out with your family or a romantic dinner, BRIO’s “A Tale of Two Risottos” is a great value.
BRIO Tuscan Grille picked up my tab, but all opinions and love of risotto are my own.
