It’s finally happening! Not wanting to be left in the dust by Marvel, DC announced some big news. The Justice League of America movie is coming to the big screen. It will be directed by Zack Snyder, who directed Man Of Steel and is currently shooting Batman vs. Superman.
There are a few different stories about when the film will hit theaters. One rumor is that Justice League will be shot back to back with Batman vs. Superman. The new “Supe” movie is slated to open May 6, 2016 with Henry Cavill returning as Superman, Ben Affleck as Batman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman and it was just announced Ray Fisher will be playing Cyborg. So, I’m assuming they’re going to try to get Justice League out by as early as Summer 2017.
It’s exciting news for comic book geeks everywhere, but there was some backlash against Snyder for the dark tone of Man Of Steel. With such an insane shooting schedule, it makes you wonder if they’re setting the director up for failure?
I’m hoping he can deliver!
